I’m Cat Braithwaite, a 31-year-old designer and illustrator originally from El Paso, TX. I graduated in 2008 from The Art Institute of Phoenix with my bachelor’s degree in graphic design with an emphasis on print design and illustration. Post-grad, I’ve held positions as a production artist at the Phoenix New Times, an in-house designer for an online music retailer and publishing company, an art director and social media manager for Copper & Kings distillery and a freelance graphic artist. Aside from my creative endeavors I enjoy checking out all types of live music and festivals, picking on my guitar or violin, trying out new local restaurants, and relaxing with a craft beer or cocktail. My optimistic, can-do attitude shines through in the enthusiasm I have for my work and supports positive relationships with my clients.

I am a member of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) and volunteered on the board of the Louisville chapter as Communications Director and Vice President from 2014-2017.

I’m available for freelance projects ranging from invitation and logo design to hand-lettered typography and portrait illustration. Thanks for stopping by to check out my work!
